Lengthening Mascara Which is the best one out there?
One of the most common questions asked I'm asked is
“What is the best lengthening mascara?” There is really not one single answer to this question because everybody's
lashes are different and it really depends on what kind of look you are striving
for.
You can start by looking at what kind of problem you have with your eyelashes. Are they
drooping? Are they too thin and too short and in need of thickening? Do they point in different directions? Once
you have the answer to these questions you have a starting point to finding the best lengthening
mascara.
Now you should look at what kind of look you want to get with your mascara. Are you looking
for a natural look or a dramatic obvious look? Do you want a hint of sophistication in your eyes? Now that you know
what kind of look you want it's time to go shopping to find some great
volumizing and lengthening
mascara!
If you are looking at lengthening your lashes then you should be looking for a very
thin brush. You can get closer to the eyelash root with this kind of brush to apply the mascara. This will give the
illusion of longer lashes.
If you want to thicken them as well, which can add to the longer look, you should
search for one that has a thick brush for application. You will want to find a mascara that advertises less
clumping because these mascaras can be very thick and clump up very easily.
When you apply this kind of mascara you will need to
wiggle the brush so that all the lashes go between the bristles of the brush. You want to make sure that each
eyelash gets covered.
If your eyelashes are pointing in
different directions you should take the mascara brush and lightly comb them before applying the makeup. This will
get them set in the right direction before applying a full coat of mascara.
The best lengthening mascara, in
my opinion, would be one of the products put out by Maybelline, L'Oreal, Max Factor, or Cover Girl. These are
middle of the road products that have been around for years and you can count on them for quality. You do not have
to pay an exorbitant price to get a good mascara, but you shouldn't get the cheap ones either because they can be
very watery and need to be applied far more often than the ones I've just mentioned.
Some people spend a fortune on
mascara and swear by a certain brand. If you have a lot of money and are stuck on a high end mascara, then that is
fine. In many cases, however, people try these higher-end products and come back to the four mentioned above
because they don't really find that much difference between them.
The mascaras sold by the
companies listed above can usually be purchased for about ten dollars each. They are available in every department
store and drugstore across the country.
The best lengthening mascara will
define your eyes like no other. Try a few brands and see which one works the best for you.
